The hat is big, well made and certainly gives great UV protection from the full, under-brim liner. I don't like that it comes in a hybrid size (Small/Medium) ... I had to have my hat shop properly size it for my head. Also, it is a little on the heavy side for a woven raffia hat. Overall, though, I would recommend it for Spring and Summer wear.
