The dress is well made, the colors are beautiful and sit very well on a little girl. The 3 layers of the skirt give it just the right amount of volume. My 5-year old loved it on sight and kept twirling in it. I got her the 4-5 size and it sits well, maybe a bit wide, but she is on the skinny side, I think she will be able to wear it even when she is 6.This is not a dress for everyday play, but for a bit more dressy occasion. At the same time it's not formal or stiff. For $17 it's really a great value - similar dresses from other sellers run more into the $30+ range. This is my second purchase from this seller, the first was an everyday dress, I'll be checking out more of their products
