This is a really pretty special occasion dress. My granddaughter will wear it as a flower girl in her uncle's wedding. The wedding colors are ivory and brown and this dress is perfect. It is very well made and it fits her perfectly. She normally wears a 4 and that's the size we got. I like that the flower is pinned on, not sewn, so it can be removed easily if my daughter chooses not to use it. The fabric is beautiful and has a slight shimmer to it, more noticeable in the sun, which is nice because it will be an outdoor ceremony. There are layers underneath, including a crinoline one, but if you feel that the dress is too full, it can easily be cut out. If you leave it in, there is lining between it and the child's skin so it won't be uncomfortable.
