I ordered a size 10 and a size 4 for my 3-1/2 year old and 9 year old daughters for a wedding in August. I was afraid they were going to be too big in the chest and waist area, but they fit quite nicely. They are slightly large in the chest and waist, but not so that you'd notice. The dress has a nice wide sash which ties the waist to a perfect fit. The picture is a true representation of the dress. Spots on the fabric come off very nicely with a washcloth. They are machine washable. Skirt is very full and fun. Both of my daughters liked the dresses.
