I bought this for my 3 year old. She loves it and it makes her look so put together. There is tuille under the skirt to help with the flare factor, which can make it a pain to clean the dress but that's for the grown-ups to worry about, right?! The rosette is nice touch, although in the middle is dull white plastic button, whereas a little sparkle would have been much better. I have this also in the inverse orange red/light blue for my 6 year old and her rosette has a sparkly looking ight blue gem, which sets off the dress so much better.
