I have had no problems with this tunic -- Even though the fabric is not heavy, it is wash and wear - no need to iron. I have washed it at least 20 times so far and it has shown no wear and tear or piling. Beware though, it runs a little on the shorter side so you may want to buy up a size. I bought size 8 tunic for my 7-8 year old daughter. It fit perfect with the correct "roominess", but ran a little short (which is fine since she has to wear bicycle shorts or leggings underneath). But I find myself having to buy the size 10 after she turned 8.
